    I recycle and compost; use microfiber cloths that can be washed rather than disposable products. I use knitted dishcloths, and use either ecologically safe cleaning products or make my own from white vinegar, baking soda and borax.

  • I bring reusable shopping bags everywhere, wash our laundry in cold water, make our own compost, buy as many products as possible that don't come in plastic, recycle as much as we can, and try to reduce our energy consumption.

  • I save water. Being in a Southern state, we sometimes have a drought and we have to come up with ways to not use water. Wash less than necessary always full loads, flush the toilet less and do put chemicals in the water

  • I recycle everything possible, car pool, walk rather than drive when possible, use reusuable bags--not plastic, I plant trees, am political active regarding environmental issues, I may continually aware of every- thing I'm doing and how it can be better.   • Tip: Except for filling pots for cooking or buckets for cleaning, water should only run from a faucet at the size of a pencil. You can get the same job done (ex., washing hands, rinsing dishes, etc), conserve resources and save $.
